This program runs from September to June and is to help you prepare to write the GED exam. It is held on Tuesday evenings by a qualified instructor.
This course and the GED study books are provided free of charge.
The GED Exams are written as you complete each course or when you decide you are ready.
You are able to take the GED tests in Nova Scotia if you:
- are at least 19 years of age on the date of the test.
- have not received a grade 12 graduation certificate from any institution
- have been out of the public school system for at least one year
The GED testing series consists of five tests in the areas:
Writing; Reading; Mathematics; Science, and Social Studies
