With close to 50 years of excellence in Nova Scotia, Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. is looking for Apprentices to fill our Warehouse Person positions at the Bridgewater plant.

Apprentice Warehouse person
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Working in the warehouse, you will sort tires based on identifications and
pile the tires on pallets according to their sort. Each tire can weigh up to 55lb and you will be lifting them for approximately 60% of the shift. For approximately 40% of your shift, you will label tires as well as scan them to receive them into the warehouse.
Computer skills are an asset (training on the specific tasks is provided)

Ability to work in a team
Ability to follow work methods and procedures
Demonstrates a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn
Ability to work shiftwork in an industrial environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to safely lift and stack tires that can each weigh up to 55 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting hourly rate of $15.25 per hour and after the successful completion of this period, you will be paid at the rate of $15.76 per hour, plus shift premiums.
5% supplementary benefit dollar amount to assist you in purchasing benefits should you wish to do so.
Safety footwear and other safety equipment as required for your job will be supplied upon reporting to work and will be replaced as needed
