Additional Info: Due to an increase in awarded projects and an anticipated busy construction season, Maecon is looking to fill a number of Concrete and Construction Laborer positions.
The Maecon team has over 25 years of delivering quality concrete repair, restoration and maintenance projects throughout Atlantic Canada. We are currently looking for 10+ highly committed and competent construction workers to join our growing team!
This is a permanent full time position that offers the successful candidate health and dental benefits after successful completion of their 3 month probationary period
Hours may vary and fluctuate according to project scheduling, quantity of work and performance.
Performance Review after 3 months
Responsibilities: Operation of construction equipment Operate and care for construction equipment and machines Help other Construction Laborers when necessary Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards Load or unload construction materials Participate and contribute to safety meetings Put together and take apart temporary structures Follow instructions from supervisors Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary Perform site cleanup Physical labor Set up & tear down of structures Use of hand tools Loading and unloading material Site clean up Prep construction sites Assist Lead hand and other skilled laborers when necessary
