Additional Info: This position begins as a part-time position with on the job training provided and becomes full time as we become busier during the tourist season.
Responsibilities: Cleaning Rooms: dusting, sanitizing, making of beds, vacuuming, stain removal, sweeping, mopping, removing debris, emptying trash bins, washing of in room surfaces if needed, change and stock linens, cleaning staff washroom and common areas.
Customer Service: Responding politely to all guest requests. Providing local knowledge upon request or directing them to reception for further details.
Laundry: Washing, Drying, Folding, stain removal/ May be required, to cover days off for the laundry room attendant.
To be successful in this position you will also require attention to detail, consistency, punctuality, the ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs unaided, traverse stairs, and get down on the floor and return to standing.
