Responsibilities:

Salary: $17/hr to $22/hr

Additional Info: The ideal applicant will have 2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment is an asset, Sawmill experience is desirable.

Experience working with stationary equipment used in some type of production process is preferred. Ability to work in a team environment that is committed to working safely, while focused on improving production and maintaining quality.

Strong interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities: Responsible for maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment. Machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and preventative maintenance.

Repair or replace chains; belt conveyors; gear boxes; hydraulics & pneumatic's; welding/cutting; and using power tools Inspect and investigate to determine the root cause of the failure or malfunction of machinery in order to perform corrective repairs and take preventable actions.
Respond to emergencies when mechanical problems occur at the operation.

Stick welding ability is an asset.
