Our Landscaping Gardeners are the face of our company. Our staff must be able to perform their duties in a competent, friendly manner, and take pride in the quality of work they provide for our customers. We offer competitive wages for the industry and although seasonal in nature, full time hours are available.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Landscape Gardener is responsible for:
Providing Landscaping and Gardening Services
· Maintaining and performing property care
· Transporting supplies and equipment to work sites
· Constructing and planting gardens
· Watering, fertilizing, weeding, pruning, planting shrubs, trees and seedlings
· Cleaning out and restructuring garden areas, lawns,
Providing Customer Service
· Remain positive and professional while serving our clients
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
The Landscape Gardener must know:
· Basic horticultural principles and knowledge or willingness to learn (is an asset)
· Safe and proper use of tools, equipment (training provided)
The Landscape Gardener should be able to:
· Interact well with customer’s/property owners
· Use time effectively to fulfill the expectations for the work day
The Landscape Gardener should demonstrate the following competencies:

The typical physical demands of the Landscape Gardener include:
· Motion Parameters:
Use upper limbs to shovel, rake and hoe work areas and for using hand tools, machinery
Use proper body mechanics while bending, lifting.
· Work Environment:
Required to work outside in varying weather conditions – heat, rain or cooler temperatures and may be required to work some weekends.
