Responsibilities:

Salary: $13 per hour

Additional Info: This position begins as a Part-time position with on the job training and becomes Full-time throughout Tourist Season.

Responsibilities: This position requires washing, drying, and folding of hotel linens in to pre-determined standards. This position also includes careful stain treatment and removal in the prescribed manner.

The laundry room attendant will be required to iron some of the above linens. Restock the linens by type to the appropriate location for use by the housekeeping staff.

The laundry room attendant is also responsible for assisting in the weekly inventory count of the housekeeping supplies, washing dishes used in the rooms on a daily basis, keeping the housekeeping room clean, and reporting all broken/damaged items to the manager immediately and before discarding.

At times the laundry room attendant may also be called upon to assist in the cleaning of the hotel rooms and shall be trained on this aspect as well.

As well as the below skills the following are also required: Dedication, Consistency, organization, Attention to Detail, Punctuality, Ability to lift up to 25lbs unaided, ability to get down on the floor and return to standing and go up and down stairs frequently.
